Japan School Pictures: Cleaning the Classrooms

One of the things Americans notice when they visit a school in Japan is how clean the schools are. There is no graffiti on the walls, no trash on the floors. This is because Japanese students are responsible for helping keep their schools clean. At the end of the school day, these elementary school children help clean up their classroom. Because they do this every day, students are very conscious about keeping their school clean.
